The „Rheingau-Line“ stops at least once an hour in Rüdesheim am Rhein. The taxi rank is directly at the station. The bus stops are at the Brömserburg, 100m from the station. From direction Frankfurt A66, via Wiesbaden, then Bundesstraße B42 along the river Rhine, passing Eltville direction Rüdesheim am Rhein. By Plane
Rüdesheim am Rhein is about 40 km away from Frankfurt International Airport, easily accessible from all international destinations. Driving time from the airport is about 55 minutes, by public transport (train and suburban train) about 90 minutes. Hahn airport is 65km away from Rüdesheim and driving by car takes about 75 minutes (please plan some extra time for the ferry crossing the Rhine).
By Ship
Arriving by ship surely is the most beautiful, eventful and romantic form of locomotion for all wine travellers. You will not only enjoy the anticipation for the RheinWeinWelt but also the view of medieval castles, river meadows and vineyards. The river cruises „Rheingold“ or „Confluentia“ sail seasonally from Koblenz upstream via Boppard, Loreley, passing St. Goar/St. Goarshausen to Rüdesheim.
The passenger ships of Köln-Düsseldorfer connect Rüdesheim with Mainz, Koblenz, Bonn, Köln and Düsseldorf, offering daily services. In season, the historic paddle wheel steamer „Goethe“ is also in action. The Bingen-Rüdesheimer shipping line offers regional tours from and to Rüdesheim. All piers are within walking distance, about 700 metres from the RheinWeinWelt.
