TRADITION AND PASSION

Since 1708 our family has been involved in winemaking, keeping the tradition with caring passion. It is our arduous aim to produce wines of the highest quality, all in harmony with nature, hand selection in the vineyards as well as rest and time in the cellar. This aim is passed on from generation to generation. 

Our vineyards can be found in top sites of Nahe and Rhinehessen. Careful and responsible work in the vineyards ensures wines of strong character, showing individual style and reflecting their origin: soil, grape variety and vintage. Since 1992 we are proud members of the VDP (Association of German Predicate Wine Estates), thus belonging to the best wine estates of Germany!

Our family can look back on 300 years of winemaking tradition; it is our pleasure to watch this tradition being carried into the future. The new generation, our sons Georg and Phillip Rumpf are ready to take on this challenge as a strong team,  leading the wine estate into the future.
